- Owned Kasa's money platform end-to-end for 6 years across financials, payments, pricing, lodging tax, accounting export, channel fees, and finance/admin operations, including $350M+ in lifetime card-payment volume.
- Founded financial-api and grew it into Kasa's financial system of record for reservations, invoices, security deposits, taxes, payments, and NetSuite export, absorbing multiple legacy Lambda services along the way.
- Led or materially drove the Guesty platform exit, NetSuite SuiteTalk/SuiteQL REST rebuild, NextPax channel launch, and NX/NestJS/Fargate re-platforming of Kasa's largest backend services.
- Built durable cross-service contracts and data paths for payment determination, real-time MongoDB-to-BigQuery sync, multi-jurisdiction lodging tax, and self-service NetSuite failure triage.
- Founded the engineering org's AI developer-tooling platform and enablement program, turning repeated data, debugging, reporting, and planning workflows into reusable skills and agents.

Oct 2023 – Present - Own Kasa's financial, payments, pricing, tax, and accounting platform; scaled financial-api into the system of record for ~230K annual reservations across 3,100+ active units.
- Lead a 13-person organization — four direct engineers plus an Engineering Manager leading eight — after previously scaling the department to ~30 engineers across four US and Hungary teams.
- Rebuilt NetSuite export as a resilient SuiteTalk/SuiteQL REST pipeline with FIFO retries and persisted failures, cutting the daily accounting export from multi-hour to under an hour and retiring the external sync vendor.
- Unified booking-behavior payment determination and consolidated legacy financial workflows into financial-api, replacing duplicated cross-service logic with one contract.
- Re-architected Kasa's largest backend services into NX/NestJS monorepos on AWS Fargate, launched NextPax across four OTAs, and established reusable AI delivery tooling for engineering operations.

Mar 2022 – Oct 2023 - Led Kasa's migration off Guesty onto in-house channel-management and financial systems, removing a critical vendor dependency from reservation and money flows.
- Founded financial-api and moved reporting, cancellation, invoicing, receipts, and payment workflows into a dedicated platform surface.
- Owned financial and OTA delivery across ~20 services, including channel taxonomy, payment edge cases, fees, market-segment accounting, and NetSuite dimensions.
Engineering Manager
Mar 2020 – Mar 2022 - Built Kasa's reservation-risk and guest-verification service from scratch, including vendor checks, queues, retries, overrides, notifications, and operations controls.
- Built the original financials calculation engine and Mongo-to-NetSuite export for fees, tax, discounts, payments, exemptions, and reconciliation.
- Established Kasa's engineering management function as its first Engineering Manager, growing the team from two to six engineers and creating Revenue and Financials domains.

Rebuilt accounting export around SuiteTalk/SuiteQL REST, batch posting, paginated reads, FIFO fan-out, per-message retries, persisted failure records, and self-service triage/retry tooling for finance operations. Cut the daily export from multi-hour to under an hour and retired the external sync vendor entirely.
Channel Integrations
Guesty Exit and NextPax Launch
Helped move Kasa off a third-party property-management dependency and onto in-house channel-management and financial systems, then launched the NextPax multi-channel integration across Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, and Vrbo.
